On Arnold-Sommerfeld-Strasse there are various types of open spaces, including allotment gardens and a green area with sports and play facilities. The skatepark was created in 2011, and was developed in collaboration with local skaters in the flow model. The youth initiative, Young City Movement, organized temporary lighting until 10 pm, calling the event Light at Skatenight. Thanks to the commitment of the young people, the floodlight system is now permanently installed, and skating can now take place in the evenings.
