Carl-Wery-Strasse

To combat rising land prices and stabilise rents, the city of Munich is testing pilot projects in housing for rent in various locations. The city dispenses with price competition and allocates the areas at their current market value. One of these pilot projects was created on Carl-Wery-Strasse. The municipal housing association, GEWOFAG, built two serpentine buildings with 377 rental apartments, plus a children’s day nursery and play areas.
