Hanns-Seidel-Platz
The Hanns-Seidel-Platz, located opposite the Pep Shopping Centre, has been left underdeveloped for decades. To date, the area has been used for car parking, weekly markets and flea markets. The city owns three hectares, and one hectare is privately owned. The centre of the area will form an approximately 4,700 square metre public green space. Plans include a community centre with social housing and shops, around 400 apartments - over half of which are subsidised - a children’s day nursery and a family centre. There is also a residential facility for trainees and a hotel.
